Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE®️) is a gentle, body-based practice that supports the release of stress, tension, and trauma held within the nervous system. Trauma is not only what happens to us; it is also what remains unresolved within the body when an experience overwhelms our capacity to cope. Over time, this can contribute to chronic tension, hypervigilance, anxiety, emotional reactivity, fatigue, difficulty relaxing, and a feeling of being disconnected from oneself.

TRE®️ works with the body's natural tremoring mechanism, an innate response designed to help discharge stress and restore balance. Through a series of simple exercises, the body is invited to enter a state where natural, involuntary movements can emerge. These movements are not forced or performed; they arise organically as the body begins to unwind layers of accumulated tension and protective holding patterns.

As tension is released, many people experience a greater sense of grounding, ease, emotional regulation, vitality, and connection with themselves. The practice can help shift the nervous system out of survival states such as fight, flight, freeze, or collapse, creating more space for presence, resilience, and self-awareness.

TRE®️ is self-paced, accessible, and guided by the body's own wisdom. There is no need to relive painful memories or analyze past experiences. Instead, the invitation is to listen deeply, allow what wants to move, and trust the body's natural capacity to restore balance.

This workshop offers an opportunity to slow down, connect with your body, and explore what happens when less effort is applied and more listening is invited. Whether the experience feels subtle or profound, the intention is simply to create a safe space for the nervous system to unwind and for the body to express what it may have been holding for some time.

Whether your experience feels subtle or profound, the intention is to create a safe space for the body to release what it no longer needs to hold and to support a natural return to balance, resilience, and well-being.

About the Facilitator: Noki

Noki is a TRE®️ Provider from Brazil with a long-standing interest in contemplative practices. Since 2016, he has studied with teachers from different traditions. Over time, he found a deeper resonance with Shaktipat meditation and now is a sādhaka in the Siddha Maha Yoga lineage.

Through this journey, he has come to trust the body's own capacity for healing and transformation. In TRE®️, he found not only a simple and direct practice, but also a genuine curiosity and joy in supporting others on their own paths.

His facilitation is gentle, body-oriented, and responsive to what resonates with each person in the moment. He incorporates parts-informed language to support a kinder relationship with inner experience.
