Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. At the same time, our programs involve advance planning, facilitator commitments, accommodation arrangements, food, venue preparation, and other expenses. This policy helps us maintain a fair and transparent process for both participants and the organisation.

This policy applies to programs, workshops, retreats, courses, and other learning experiences organised by Living Consciouslyy (online) and, where applicable, conducted at Bodhigram Empowerment Centre, the home of Living Consciouslyy Foundation (in-person).

Cancellation by the Participant

​

A. For Online Workshops and Courses at Living Consciouslyy

• No Cancellation or Refund: Once registration is confirmed and payment has been made, the registration is non-cancellable and non-refundable.

• Transfer of Registration: If the registered participant is unable to attend the workshop or course, their registration may be transferred to another participant, provided the request is made at least 10 days before the scheduled start date. The transfer is subject to prior notification and approval by Living Consciouslyy. The replacement participant must fulfil any eligibility requirements applicable to the program.

B. In-Person Programs at Bodhigram Empowerment Centre

• Full Refund: Cancellation made 60 days or more before the scheduled start date of the program.

• Program Credit: For cancellations made between 30 and 59 days before the scheduled start date of the program, no refund will be provided. However, the amount paid may be retained as a credit and used towards participation in any other program conducted during the same financial year, subject to availability.

• No Refund or Credit: For cancellations made less than 30 days before the scheduled start date of the program, no refund or program credit will be provided.

• Transfer of Registration: If a registered participant is unable to attend the program, their registration may be transferred to another participant, provided the request is made at least 30 days before the scheduled start date. No transfer of registration will be permitted within 30 days of the program. The transfer is subject to prior notification and approval by Living Consciouslyy.

 

This cancellation and refund policy applies to the total program contribution, including the workshop/program fee and, where applicable, accommodation and meals, unless a specific program has a separate cancellation and refund policy stated on its registration page.

How to Request a Cancellation

 

• All cancellation requests must be made in writing through the official communication channel, please call or WhatsApp +91-9405712845 (Vineet) to understand about that.

• The date on which the written cancellation request is received by Living Consciouslyy will be considered the date of cancellation for determining the applicable refund.

• Refunds, where applicable, will normally be processed within 10 working days after approval of the cancellation.

Non-Attendance or Early Departure

 

If a participant does not attend a program despite having registered, or chooses to leave an ongoing program before its scheduled completion, no refund will ordinarily be provided.

This includes situations where a participant is unable to attend part of the program due to personal circumstances, travel difficulties, change of plans, or other reasons arising after the applicable cancellation period.

Cancellation or Postponement by Living Consciouslyy/Bodhigram

 

While we make every effort to conduct programs as announced, Living Consciouslyy/Bodhigram reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, modify, or change the format of a program due to unforeseen circumstances, facilitator unavailability, insufficient participation, operational requirements, natural events, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If Living Consciouslyy/Bodhigram cancels a program:

• Participants will be offered the option of a full refund of the amount paid, or

• Where feasible, the option to transfer their registration to the rescheduled or another suitable program.

If a program is postponed or rescheduled, participants will be informed as early as reasonably possible.

Force Majeure and Exceptional Circumstances

 

In exceptional circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the participant or Living Consciouslyy/Bodhigram, the organisation may, at its discretion, consider an alternative arrangement such as transfer of registration, credit toward a future program, partial refund, or full refund, depending on the circumstances and the costs already incurred.

Such exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not an automatic entitlement.

Program-Specific Policies

​​

• Certain programs, particularly residential retreats, festivals, special events, or programs involving advance bookings and external costs, may have a cancellation and refund policy that differs from this general policy.

• Where a program has a specific cancellation policy, that policy will be clearly mentioned on the relevant program registration page and will take precedence over this general policy.

• Participants are encouraged to read the program-specific terms carefully before completing their registration.

Refund Processing

​​

• Where a refund is applicable, it will generally be made through the original mode of payment or another appropriate method agreed upon by Living Consciouslyy/Bpdhigram.

• Any payment gateway charges, bank charges, currency conversion charges, or other non-recoverable transaction costs may be deducted from the refund, where applicable.

Acceptance of the Policy

• By completing registration and making payment for a Living Consciouslyy/Bodhigram program, the participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the applicable Cancellation & Refund Policy.

• Living Consciouslyy/Bodhigram reserves the right to review and update this policy from time to time. The policy applicable at the time of registration will ordinarily govern that registration, unless otherwise communicated.
