What is Meditation, and How to Meditate?

October 1-2, 2025

What is Conscious Commune?

Conscious Commune is a monthly 2-day residential gathering at Bodhigram designed to explore life’s most meaningful questions in a safe, reflective, and experiential space.

Every month, we choose one specific theme, from meditation and mindfulness, to relationships, purpose, or emotional well-being, and dive deep into it together.

The intention is to create a living laboratory of self-inquiry and inner work, where we all can pause, reflect, and learn through dialogue, practices, and community sharing. Over time, Conscious Commune envisions to become a space to build a supportive circle of seekers who are committed to living consciously.

Conscious Commune – October 2025
(What is Meditation, and How to Meditate?

Meditation is one of the most spoken-about, yet least understood practices in the world today. Is it something we do, or does it happen naturally? Should we follow Osho, Krishnamurti, Eckhart Tolle, Thich Nhat Hanh, or Vipassana? Is guided meditation better, or should we just sit in silence and watch our breath? Will meditation erase our worries and fears completely?

These questions often leave us confused and keep us from experiencing meditation deeply. This month at Conscious Commune, we invite you to explore the heart of this timeless practice in a safe, immersive, and experiential way.

Over two days, we will break through myths and confusions, explore what meditation truly means, and learn how to make it part of everyday life. The workshop is designed to give you clarity and confidence about meditation, so you can find your own path and practice with ease.
